Service Now Developer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Now Developer to join our Service Management team. As a Service Now Developer, you will play a crucial role in configuring, customizing, and maintaining our Service Now platform to meet the needs of our organization. You will oversee the configuration of our Service Now platform to ensure it meets the needs of our users and business.
You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT teams and business users, to understand requirements and translate them into effective Service Now solutions.
Responsibilities
- Service Now Configuration:
Perform hands-on configuration and customization of the Service Now platform to fit business requirements. Service Now Modules in use include ITAM, Incident Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, CMDB, Asset Management, ITOM and more. - Scripting:
Write and document clean, efficient, and maintainable code using JavaScript, Web Services, Angular etc. Code reviews and quality control checks should be undertaken as part of every update set/project/upgrade to guarantee maximum efficiency and productivity. - Solution Design and Development:
Design and develop Service Now solutions including forms, workflows, scripts, business rules, UI policies, and integrations to meet business requirements and improve overall system performance.
Qualifications
- Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Service Now developer/administrator configuring and customizing the Service Now platform particularly for ITSM, ITOM and HAM modules. Experience with Service Now product implementation is a bonus. - Service Now
Certifications:
Service Now certifications such as Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more Service Now modules. - Technical
Skills:
Proficient in Service Now platform configuration, including user management, access control, form design and workflow automation, scripting, business rules, UI policies, integrations with other programs/vendors, and reporting.
