Position Summary The Manufacturing Engineer will design, optimize, and implement manufacturing processes that drive efficiency, quality, and innovation, ensuring the seamless production of high-performance products in a dynamic, safety-focused environment. Work with the elements of new and existing manufacturing processes and equipment with the purpose of improving the safety, cost, quality, and delivery of manufactured products.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement, and improve production processes and methods: plant and equipment layout, production flow, tooling and production equipment, NC/CNC programs, machining methods, fabrication methods, assembly methods, and staffing requirements in accordance with the company Quality System.
• Design and optimize fixtures, equipment, gauges, and tooling used in the manufacturing environment.
• Provide manufacturing quality planning for the design review team.
• Develop and maintain: manufacturing control plans, fixture and tooling drawings, in-process gauge drawings, welding standards, work instructions, statistical process control (SPC) projects, forms and checklists, document control systems, production routings and notes, and work center files.
• Lead and/or assist with the development of new manufacturing projects or jobs.
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment and related habits.
• Assist with troubleshooting production problems.
• Provide employee training as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 1-3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and machine design skills.
• Preferred Qualifications
• 3D CAD design skills (CREO preferred).
• 2 years of NC/CNC programming and machining experience.
• Fixture design knowledge.

Physical Requirements Must have full range of body motion. Certain operations require repetitive bending, squatting, and full arm extension. Manual lifting, not exceeding fifty (50) pounds, may be required. Able to visit various manufacturing environments.
