What you will do:

Leads the overall effort to integrate and mature Zero Trust capabilities, ensuring security integrations are planned, delivered, and operationalized across stakeholders and systems. Drives coordination across technical teams, security engineering, operations, and vendors to ensure integrations are reliable, compliant, and aligned to mission needs. Acts as the integration authority for resolving cross‑system dependencies, risks, and implementation challenges, and supports Government Program Manager reporting and decision‑making.

Position Overview

The Integration Lead provides expert technical leadership and direction in the design, integration, and maturation of Zero Trust capabilities across the enterprise. This role is responsible for driving end‑to‑end integration efforts, ensuring alignment with Zero Trust principles, and enabling secure, scalable, cloud‑native interoperability across systems and services.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands‑on experience in modern integration patterns, microservices, event‑driven architectures, and API‑centric ecosystems, along with the ability to guide teams and stakeholders through complex security and integration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall strategy, planning, and execution of Zero Trust capability integration across the enterprise.
  • Provide expert guidance on performance, scalability, and security considerations for all integration components.
  • Architect, design, and oversee implementation of cloud‑native integration solutions, including APIs, microservices, and event‑streaming pipelines.
  • Drive the adoption of enterprise integration patterns (EIP), data transformation frameworks, and orchestration engines.
  • Collaborate with security, engineering, and operations teams to ensure integrated solutions meet Zero Trust maturity objectives.
  • Evaluate existing systems and recommend enhancements to improve interoperability, resilience, and compliance.
  • Mentor technical teams and ensure best practices in integration design, development, and deployment.
  • Prepare and deliver technical documentation, integration roadmaps, and status updates to leadership and government stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the development and delivery of security integration solutions across Zero Trust capabilities or comparable experience (subject to Government approval).
  • Strong hands‑on expertise with:
    • Microservices architecture
    • Event streaming platforms
    • Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP)
    • Data transformation frameworks
    • Orchestration engines and workflow automation
  • Demonstrated technical depth in API integration, data integration, and cloud‑native integration architecture.
  • U.S. Citizenship required

  • Active DHS USCIS Public Trust clearance or Secret (or above) for reciprocity.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting federal agencies or large‑scale enterprise security modernization programs.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust frameworks (e.g., NIST 800‑207).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional teams in fast‑paced, mission‑critical environments.
