Revenue Auditor

POSITION SUMMARY

Performs complex auditing and clerical work in connection with the maintenance of financial records and the preparation of financial reports. Compile, audit, and record revenue for Cliff Castle Casino Hotel (CCCH) and the Lodge. Due to the audit independence, gambling is not permitted at CCCH.

• Gather and reconcile revenue and other financial and statistical information for all revenue departments using various accounting systems’ reports.
• Research, investigate, and correct financial data variances and discrepancies.
• Audit revenues and other financial and statistical information daily, accurately and efficiently.
• Review source documents from various gaming areas for compliance with minimum internal control standards and company policies.
• Enter daily revenue information into a journal entry format for general ledger upload.
• Perform daily audits accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policy and procedures and document the results.
• In coordination with the Revenue Audit Supervisor and Staff Accountant, prepare any requested financial or statistical analysis reports.
• Produce audited and unaudited reports for each department.
• Ensure proper filing and storage of audit paperwork.
• Provide required support to management, Internal Audit, and external auditors.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma (required) / 2‑Year Degree (preferred).
• Work Experience:
  
  One (1) year experience in an accounting or bookkeeping position (required).
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel; ten‑key by touch.

• Must be 18+ years old and available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test and background check for an AZ Gaming License.
• Must adhere to all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
