Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs Bookkeeping and Payroll duties, including bank deposits and reconciliations, accunts payable and credit card payments.
• Prepare Staff payroll, enter timesheets into ADP and [process bi-weekly payroll
• Ensure invoices, billa and credit cards are paid in a timely manner
• Prepare Bank deposit
• Reconcile bank, credit cards and other accounts
• Checking coding of transactions to ensure they have been coded to correct account and with the correct tax treatment
• Prepare and file monthly sales tax
• Prepare reports such as Profit and Loss, A/P aging and Balance sheet
• Work closely with CPA to prepare Q2 and year end financials
• Complete reports for workers compensation audit and insurance
• Administer insurance claims including W/C, liability, auto and property damage
• Manage office petty cash fund
• Answer phone inquiries and respond to emails
• Order supplies
• Must be proficient in Quickbooks Desktop
  - Excel
  - Word
• Ability to make General Journal entires
• Self starter with the ability to prioritize and be self directed in your work

We are a wildlife park in central Arizona with hundreds of animals. We have about 100,000 guests per year and just under 50 employees. Park Hours are M-F 9:30-5:00
