Rainbow Acres is hiring Caregivers to support adults with developmental disabilities. This is a caregiver position focused on daily care, safety, independence, and quality of life in a supportive Christian environment. This role is ideal for a compassionate person seeking a Caregiver job near Camp Verde, nonprofit work, or mission-driven employment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily care and support for adults with developmental disabilities
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Support emotional, social, and physical well being
- Administer medications as prescribed and document accurately
- Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful living environment
- Transport residents to appointments and off-site activities
- Collaborate with healthcare, vocational, and support teams
- Protect resident rights and follow all safety procedures
This is a safety sensitive caregiver position requiring strong attention to detail and accountability.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be 21 years or older
- Ability to complete Arizona approved Certified Caregiver training; employer paid
- Experience with adults with developmental disabilities preferred
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- CPR / First Aid certification; or willingness to obtain, employer paid
- Food Handler’s Card: or willingness to obtain, employer paid
- Strong ethics, compassion, and reliability
- Alignment with a faith based Christian mission preferred
- Final candidates will be required to submit to our security clearance process.
On-site training for the right candidate.
Salary Information$17.5 - $21
