Staff Accountant
Our company is seeking a hands-on Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This position is ideal for someone eager to grow their accounting career with a publicly traded technology firm. The role is heavily involved in day-to-day accounting operations and offers exposure to both technical and operational functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting month-end and quarter-end close processes
- Assist with preparation of financial statements and SEC reporting documentation under US GAAP
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing as needed
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis to support business decisions and compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with internal policies, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and regulatory requirements
- Participate in process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting function
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and audits
