Financial Accounting Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed.
• Prepare financial reports and schedules for management.
• Assist with audit requests and documentation.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
• Track fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and special projects.
• Identify opportunities for process

Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

-2+ years of accounting experience.

-Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting.

-Experience with ERP systems such as Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage Intacct, or similar.

-Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

-Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
