Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Staff GPU/TPU Design Verification (DV) Engineer

OXMIQ designs GPU and AI silicon for large-scale model inference and training, and is building the system software and analysis platforms that prove out those designs before they reach customers. We are a startup driving innovation across the full stack — from atoms to agents — and we move fast on the strength of our own tools.

About the Role

We are building a next-generation AI and HPC GPU architecture from the ground up. As a GPU/TPU System Design Verification Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring first-pass silicon success by verifying the complete GPU subsystem, from command processing through memory hierarchy and external interfaces.

You will work closely with architects, RTL designers, software developers, and SoC integration teams to verify complex interactions across the GPU/TPU, memory subsystem, NoC, and system interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive verification plans for GPU/TPU system-level functionality.
  • Build reusable UVM/System Verilog verification environments for GPU subsystems with runtime RTL vs reference Cmodel checkers across the processing pipeline stages.
  • Create assertion-based verification (SVA) and functional coverage models.
  • Debug RTL, verification environment, and software issues using waveform analysis and simulation tools.
  • Develop SoC level test bench and bare metal tests
  • Work with firmware and software teams to enable pre-silicon validation and post-silicon bring-up.
  • Drive verification closure through functional, code, assertion, and cross-coverage metrics.
  • Participate in regression automation and continuous integration infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of ASIC/SoC verification experience (Senior level).
  • Strong expertise in System Verilog and UVM.
  • Good understanding of modern CPU/GPU/SoC architectures.
  • Experience with constrained-random verification methodology.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell.
  • Experience with regression automation and coverage analysis.
  • Experience with Emulation system is a plus.
  • Experience with formal verification methodologies is a plus

OXMIQ offers a competitive compensation package, including base salary, equity participation, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, and the opportunity to contribute to foundational silicon and software technology.

OXMIQ is an equal opportunity employer. We evaluate qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic.
