Mechanical Design Engineer

This position pays between $50.00 and $55.00 per hour.

Pay for this contract position is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

1) NX CAD (Siemens NX, former Unigraphics) with Team Center / Mechanical -

* Other 3D CAD experience will be considered, such as Soild Works, Creo, etc... If not you must be able to pick up on NX quickly *

NOTE:

Semiconductor Process Equipment Design experience is NOT required, but must understand complex systems with 1000's of parts.)

• Semiconductor Process Equipment design in NX or relevant CAD, in 3D.
• "Machine" designs type background/systems or components of semiconductor machines/equipment.
• 2D & 3D CAD Modeling, 3D Printing, Electro-Mechanical Layouts, Metals, Fixtures, Tooling, Packaging, Mechanisms, Machining/machined parts, etc.
• Design knowledge of sheet metal enclosure and machined enclosure development is also required.
• DFM (Design For Manufacturing), GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), Tolerance Analysis, FEA (Finite Element Analysis).
• Documentation, BOM’s.
• Teamcenter is preferred with NX, but other CAD and PDM or PLM will be considered.
• Must have Portfolio or Samples*.
• Great Communication Skills.
• Able to take direction well.
• Team Player type personality/good person to work with.
• Able to work in secured and confidential areas.
• BSME or Equivalent Degree/Experience.
