As we continue expanding across California, our Events & Catering division is becoming a major driver of growth and brand experience. We are looking for an Events & Business Development Coordinator who can combine hospitality, sales, and flawless execution to help us scale unforgettable events while maintaining the warmth and precision our guests expect.
This role is not just about logistics. It is about creating experiences that feel effortless to the guest and perfectly orchestrated behind the scenes.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIESInquiry to Booking: Respond quickly to inbound event leads, qualify opportunities, conduct site visits and tastings, and build proposals that convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact from first inquiry through final execution, ensuring every guest feels informed, supported, and excited throughout the planning process.
Post-Event Follow-Up: Lead thank-you outreach, collect guest feedback, and build re-booking opportunities. Today's rehearsal dinner becomes tomorrow's anniversary celebration.
2. Business Development & Revenue GrowthPipeline Development: Build outbound business through corporate outreach, hotel and concierge partnerships, wedding planner relationships, and structured referral programs.
Revenue Ownership: Contribute directly to monthly event revenue targets, beverage attach goals, and minimum spend objectives. Monitor conversion rates, average check size, and lead source performance.
CRM Discipline: Maintain accurate and current pipeline data in Pipedrive to support forecasting, reporting, and commercial decision-making.
3. Event Operations & ExecutionBEO Creation: Translate client expectations into detailed Banquet Event Orders that provide complete operational clarity for kitchen, bar, and FOH teams.
Day-of Coordination: Lead on-site execution, manage timelines and run-of-show, anticipate operational issues before they arise, and maintain a seamless guest experience throughout service.
Vendor & Team Coordination: Partner with chefs, General Managers, sommeliers, florists, AV vendors, rental companies, and transportation partners to ensure flawless delivery of every event detail.
Off-Site Catering Logistics: Coordinate staffing, transportation, equipment, and setup for off-premise paella experiences and corporate catering events.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATEHospitality-Driven: You understand that exceptional service is built on anticipation, communication, and attention to detail. Experience in restaurants, catering, private dining, or hospitality events is strongly preferred.
Sales-Oriented: You are energized by revenue goals, relationship-building, and converting opportunities into long-term clients and partnerships.
Highly Organized: You can manage multiple events, timelines, stakeholders, and operational details simultaneously without losing composure.
Calm Under Pressure: Event-day challenges do not intimidate you. You solve problems quickly, professionally, and gracefully.
Tech Comfortable: Familiarity with CRM systems such as Pipedrive, restaurant platforms like Open Table and Toast POS, and BEO management is a strong advantage.
Bilingual Preferred: Conversational Spanish is a major plus, especially when collaborating with internal teams and Spanish-speaking clients.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 1-3 years of experience in events, catering sales, private dining, or hospitality operations
- Experience with Pipedrive or comparable CRM systems
- Working knowledge of Open Table and Toast POS
- Experience building business through outbound prospecting and partnerships
- Existing relationships with local planners, florists, hotels, or corporate buyers preferred
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and select holidays as required by the event calendar
