Duties Curriculum Leadership:
Develop and implement weekly lesson plans aligned with Ohio’s Early Learning and Development Standards (ELDS).Child Assessment:
Conduct formal and informal assessments (such as ASQ or specialized portfolios) to track developmental milestones.

Classroom Management:
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and organized classroom environment that encourages student independence and curiosity.

Family Engagement:
Lead parent-teacher conferences and maintain daily communication regarding child progress and well-being.

Continuous Improvement:
Actively participate in professional development to meet and exceed SUTQ Gold rating requirements.

Requirements To help us reach our Gold rating goals, we are looking for candidates who meet the following:

Education (Lead): CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or a related field) is highly preferred.

Education (Assistant):
High School Diploma/GED required; current enrollment in a CDA program or ECE coursework is a plus.

OCCRRA Profile:
Must have (or be willing to create) an active Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Association (OCCRRA) profile.

Background Check:
Ability to pass a BCI and FBI criminal background check as required by Ohio law.

Experience:

Previous experience in a licensed childcare setting is preferred; knowledge of SUTQ standards is a significant advantage.

Physical Ability:
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and interact with children at their eye level (sitting, kneeling, or standing).Benefits Paid Leave Tuition Assistance Child Care Discount No nights or weekends. Closed for major holidays. Provides PTO.
