Medication Technician
Join Lincoln Knolls Health & Rehab, LLC as a Medication Technician in Youngstown, OH. In this role, you will assist residents with their medication administration under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, ensuring safety and compliance with all healthcare regulations. You will play a critical role in maintaining the health and well-being of our residents by accurately administering medications and providing compassionate care.
Responsibilities- Administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with established protocols.
- Document medication administration accurately and timely.
- Monitor residents for adverse reactions or side effects and report concerns to nursing staff.
- Maintain medication carts and storage areas in compliance with facility policies.
- Assist nursing staff with resident care as needed.
- Ensure adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
- Licensed as a Nurse Aid (CNA) in the state of Ohio.
- Previous experience in medication administration preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
