Position🖥 📋 Patient Registration Clerk 📋 🖥
LocationEmergency Department in Taylor Regional Hospital
Schedule:Part time
- Evenings
- Mon, Wed, Fri (3:00pm-9:30pm)
- Every 5th Weekend (3:00pm-11:00pm)
- Every 3rd Sunday (10:00am-6:00pm)
- Obtains and enters patient information into the computer system accurately
- Request the appropriate identification cards (i.e. insurance cards) and paperwork required through the interview process
- Obtains provider orders electronically or from the patient
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other team members
- Follows HIPAA compliance
- Ensures all patients have a diagnosis
- Manages completion of consent forms for patient financial responsibility and consent of treatment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- No experience required
- On the job training essential

- Ability to operate a computer for data entry
