💰 🌘 20% Night Shift Differential
What You’ll Do- Ensures optimal patient care.
- Triages patient urgency according to initial complaints and assessment in a timely manner.
- Communicates and Educates effectively to patients on the level of understanding their process and discharge.
- Maintains accurate patient records and documentation.
- Supports a conductive work environment and recognizes emergent situations.
- Notifies physician of any changes in patient condition.
- Follows HIPAA compliance.
- Competent in nursing skills and personally responsible and reliable.
- Follows all safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
- Administers medications and therapies in accordance with the RN Nurse Practice Act and TRH policies.
- Assure medical screening exams are performed on patients prior to discharge in accordance with EMTALA.
- Abides by KY state law for reporting reportable and/or suspected abuse, i.e.; notifies police, coroner, social services, health department, etc.
- associate degree minimum required.
- Valid KY RN license.
- at least 1-2+yrs experience required
- Strong Communication Skills
- Maintain accurate and concise documentation
- Frequent bending, standing, and walking
- Lift over 50lbs
- Non-violence crisis intervention
- Conscious Sedation Annually
- BLS required through American Heart Association- renewals are included with TRH employment.
- ACLS required- renewals are included with TRH employment
- PALS required
- TNCC required within 2 years
