Travel Logistics
- Booking all Travel vans and/or buses through CU transportation request (Form Via Employee Hub)
- Help Drive CU vans to Varsity and JV matches
- Book all team lodging
- Create Travel Itinerary
- Plan meals for the team as needed
Academic Monitoring
- Collect transcripts at midterm and finals from Work Day
- Complete training under FERPA
- Send Travel Class Dismissals Emails - Send minimum 24 hours in advance
- Aid in Player Coach Meetings
Video Coordinator
- Set Volley Metrics - Every Practice & Pre-Set Matches
- Set Hudl camera for away matches & Upload to team Hudl Account
- Work closely with Head Coach & GA to create scouting report
- Break down film & Write Scouting Report to
- Aid the Head Coach with team film
Attend & Assist with Varsity and JV practice implementation & execution
- Meet once a week with Varsity Head Coach in season and out of season
- Meet every 2 weeks with JV Head Coach (In Season Only) while attending a minimum of 1 practice a week.
- Assist with varsity practice planning & implementation for every in season practice
- Practice Planned 24-5 Hours in advance
Campus Visit Coordinator
- Work in contact with CU athletic admissions staff to ensure campus tour, finical aid visit, admissions conversation, player meet and greet, dorm tour, etc.
- Arrange a team practice and/or athletic facilities tour
- Organize an overnight stay with the athletes if necessary, NAIA Coaches Training, USCAH - Training
Primary duties include working closely with the Head Coaches of both mens and womens volleyball to develop and coach an NAIA athletic team as well as assist with all phases of managing a successful program. Actively work as the programs lead operations coordinator; booking lodging, travel vehicles, film screening, pre and post match meals for the program in an organized manner.
Maintain knowledge of coaching strategies by aiding in designing and providing instruction on individual and team skills to both junior varsity and varsity programs. The volleyball programs are committed to building a diverse and inclusive faith-based community. The program takes team culture, whole person development, and volleyball competitiveness very seriously. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Previous volleyball coaching/collegiate playing experience.
- Cultural competence and effective communication skills are required.
- Successful candidate will be self-motivated and possess the ability to lead, teach and coach highly talented student-athletes who can succeed in challenging environments on and off the court.
- Aligned views with the Campbellsville University mission statement as well as the athletic mission statement.
- Experience with using video breakdown, analysis, and analytics to improve team performance.
- Valid driver license and comfortability with transporting team when necessary.
