We are seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team during a period of significant growth and organizational evolution. This is a high‑visibility, high‑impact role for a business‑minded HR leader who thrives in fast‑paced environments, embraces change, and enjoys building while doing. The VP of HR will have a true seat at the table and play a central role in shaping culture, talent strategy, leadership development, and operational scaling.
This is a full‑time, in‑office position based in the western suburbs of Chicago.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team on organizational strategy, workforce planning, and culture.
- Lead the HR function with a hands‑on, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves approach across recruiting, employee relations, performance management, compensation, compliance, and organizational development.
- Coaching and developing managers through growth, change, and operational pressure.
- Build and scale HR processes and infrastructure to support the next phase of growth without sacrificing speed or agility.
- Drive a high‑performance culture rooted in ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support M&A integration efforts as the company pursues acquisitions.
- Attract, develop, and retain high‑performing talent in a demanding, high‑accountability environment.
- 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience with a track record of partnering directly with executive teams.
- Experience in private‑equity‑backed, high‑growth, or rapidly evolving organizations is strongly preferred.
- M&A experience is a plus.
- Strong behavioral competencies: comfort with ambiguity, an agile and self‑driven learning mindset, confidence balanced with humility, exceptional work ethic and discipline, a love of solving complex problems, strong critical thinking skills, and a natural sense of urgency and attention to detail.
