OverviewJoin a high-performing manufacturing team supporting advanced, high-speed automated equipment used in the production of life‑saving medical devices. In this role, you will play a key part in improving equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement across the production line. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on technician who enjoys troubleshooting, working with automation, and contributing to a safety‑focused, team‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities Equipment Troubleshooting & Reliability- Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns, speed losses, and waste using structured problem‑solving methods
- Respond quickly to production issues and follow escalation processes to minimize downtime
- Identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Perform preventive and planned maintenance activities to improve equipment performance and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Maintain equipment settings, standards, and configurations to ensure consistent operation
- Partner with maintenance leadership to plan and execute maintenance schedules
- Participate in continuous improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency
- Support validation activities and equipment upgrades
- Recommend improvements to maintenance standards, frequency, and execution
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to improve line performance
- Train and mentor operators and technicians on maintenance procedures and best practices
- Participate in daily production and performance meetings
- Accurately document maintenance activities, equipment issues, and spare parts usage in SAP or equivalent CMMS
- Report abnormalities and ensure timely follow‑up to reduce production losses
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical/Mechanical Technology, or related field preferred
- Equivalent technical training, military experience, or apprenticeship will be considered
- 2–3+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, automation, or a related technical field
- Experience with high‑speed automated equipment preferred
- Medical device or regulated industry experience is a plus

- Hands‑on troubleshooting experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or automated systems
- Basic working knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., Allen‑Bradley) preferred
- Experience with CMMS systems (SAP or similar) preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance and reliability practices
- Strong problem‑solving and root cause analysis skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Willingness to learn new technologies and processes
- Manufacturing/GMP‑regulated environment (cleanroom exposure may be required)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform hands‑on technical work
- Monday‑Friday day shift
