A-Line Staffing is now hiringa Forklift Operator in Canaan, CT 06018.

• $23.00 per hour paid biweekly
• Benefits available after 90 days of employment

• On-site position in Canaan, CT 06018
• Contract assignment (based on attendance, performance and business needs)
• Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (C Crew)
• Alternating schedule
  • Week 1: Mon / Tue / Fri / Sat / Sun
  • Week 2: Wed / Fri
  • (Repeats every two weeks)

• Operate material-handling equipment (including forklifts
  ) to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods within the facility
• Follow clearly defined SOPs and quality guidelines
• Complete routine, process-driven tasks with attention to safety and accuracy
• Maintain basic records/documentation as needed
• Work effectively with team members and lead/supervisor communication expectations
• Perform in a metrics-driven warehouse environment

• High school diploma or GED
• Forklift operator experience
• 0-1 year of warehouse or related experience/training (or equivalent exposure)
• Ability to read, write, and understand documents written in English
• Basic math skills and general computer skills
• Ability to work on-site and reliably meet the required schedule
• Attendance is mandatory during the first 90 days
• Ability to perform physical job demands that may include: walking/standing, stooping/kneeling, lifting, pushing/pulling, reaching/grasping, and repetitive hand/wrist motion (reasonable accommodations may be available)

• Prior experience in material handling, logistics, or manufacturing warehouse operations
• Prior experience working under SOP/regulated quality guidelines
• Any current/previous equipment certifications or training (as applicable)
