Project Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform machine assembly and modifications under the direction of the Lead Project Technician.
• Install new equipment and upgrade existing equipment.
• Repair or replace machine components to ensure reliable performance.
• Rebuild machines or machine subassemblies to maintain functionality.
• Execute project tasks as designated by the Lead Project Technician.
• Assist the team in achieving project goals and maintaining schedule compliance.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert (SME) for equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of mechanical experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Hands‑on experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical, or pneumatic systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic, hydraulic drawings, schematics, and engineering blueprints.
• Ability to read precision measuring instruments.
• Physical capability for prolonged standing and operation in awkward positions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and systems such as SAP and Maximo.

• Strong technical knowledge of advanced processing and equipment, especially electrical components.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems.
• Experience guiding and training technicians.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures with high attention to detail and timeliness.
• Effective teamwork and the ability to train new team members.
• Computer literacy and the ability to analyze production information.
