Location: Stratford South
Join the City of Stratford as a Public Housing Office Clerk, focusing on administrative tasks and customer service. Engage with tenants and manage essential records in this on-site position.
Reporting directly to the Manager of Ontario Works, this role prioritizes clerical duties and effective communication with the public. You will handle inquiries, perform data entry, and process vital housing payments. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet tenants and provide information on services
• Perform data entry using YARDI and other systems
• Process rental payments and issue receipts accurately
• Maintain accurate record-keeping systems
• Prepare statistical reports according to procedures
Requirements:
• Community College Diploma in Office Administration
• 3-6 months of relevant professional experience
• Proficient with standard and specialized software
• Knowledge of Residential Tenancies Act policies
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment
Utilize your clerical skills and customer service experience to support the City of Stratford's housing initiatives.
