Strategic Meeting Administrator Kahnawà:ke

Elevate governance and coordination as the Meeting Administrator for the Council of Chiefs. This role combines strategic planning, administrative expertise, and stakeholder communication in Kahnawà:ke.

You will lead the planning and execution of high-level strategic meetings, ensuring alignment with governance objectives. As the primary liaison for the Council, you'll oversee council package submissions, maintain precise records of meetings, and ensure timely follow-up on decisions. This position demands strong organizational skills alongside a solid understanding of the community's unique governance structure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate high-level meetings with senior leadership

• Manage and develop meeting agendas and protocols

• Transcribe and manage official meeting minutes

• Ensure compliance with archival and documentation standards

• Track accountability and feedback for council decisions

Requirements:

• DEC in Office Administration or equivalent experience

• Minimum one year in a relevant administrative role

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of Kahnawà:ke community dynamics
