Unit Clerk - Part-Time at Estevan Hospital

Location: Southeastern Saskatchewan (Carlyle)

Join the team at St Joseph's Hospital in Estevan as a part-time Unit Clerk. This position is key in providing reception and clerical support in the General Medical Nursing Unit.

As a Unit Clerk, you will assist in managing patient records and facilitating communication within the unit. Required are strong organizational skills, a Medical Office Administration Diploma, and intermediate computer proficiency. The role demands an ability to work independently while supporting unit operations in a professional and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver reception and clerical assistance to the nursing team

• Manage patient information and support scheduling tasks

• Ensure smooth communication across the department

• Organize daily activities and clerical operations

• Execute additional duties to support unit staff as required

Requirements:

• Medical Office Administration Diploma is mandatory

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required

• Proficient computer and keyboarding skills necessary

• Self-motivated with an independent working ability

• Commitment to part-time work (88 hours per 3 weeks)
