Join Southern Health-Santé Sud as a Unit Clerk at Altona Community Memorial Health Centre. In this casual in-person role, you will assist with administrative and communication tasks while supporting the nursing team.

The Unit Clerk position involves working closely with the medical staff and requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent communication abilities. You'll prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment and maintain professionalism while respecting patient confidentiality and cultural diversity within our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clerical and communication functions for the nursing team

• Assist in maintaining patient records and documentation

• Prioritize actions and manage administrative tasks efficiently

• Build positive relationships with staff and patients

• Support the daily operations of the Acute/Emergency unit

Requirements:

• One year of experience in a clinical area

• Grade 12 education or equivalent

• Unit Clerk certification preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and email

• Ability to work evenings and weekends
