Position: Buyer Role in Mining Procurement
Location: Hants County (Shubenacadie)

Become a Buyer at Atlantic Operations, focusing on material procurement and inventory support in our Stellarton or Dartmouth offices. This full-time role emphasizes efficiency in purchasing and logistical coordination.

As part of our procurement team, you will report to the Procurement Superintendent to manage inventory levels crucial for operations. Your responsibilities will include creating purchase orders, issuing RFQs, and ensuring accurate ERP data management.

Your role is essential for maintaining smooth operations and logistics in our mining projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory levels to align with operational needs

• Issue RFQs and review pricing before orders

• Create and oversee purchase order processes

• Collaborate for logistical coordination of materials

• Track and expedite orders with delivery timelines

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of procurement experience required

• Thorough understanding of purchasing processes

• Education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred

• Experience with Sage 300 and inventory management

• Familiarity with mining environments is beneficial
