Who we need Reporting to the Manager, Facilities and Administration, we are hiring a Property Manager for Camp Towhee , CDI's overnight summer Therapeutic Recreation Program.
As the Property Manager, you will oversee the Camp Towhee property through the spring, summer and fall months.
You will maintain the overall safety, cleanliness and hygiene of the camp in order to ensure the well-being of campers and staff. This existing role is a four-month contract role from June 2026 to September 30, 2026 with the opportunity to renew annually.

You will maintain cabins, trails, docks, and shared spaces, helping keep the camp safe, functional, and ready for daily programs.
As our new Property Manager, Camp Towhee, you will:
Maintain and protect the property.
You will complete general maintenance, cleaning, and repairs across the camp as directed by the Manager, Facilities and Administration, and the Camp Director.
You will open and close the property seasonally, including managing water systems, and ensure all buildings and grounds are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
You will complete approved maintenance requests in a timely manner and take on additional projects as required.
Oversee water, waste, and site systems.
You will monitor and maintain the drinking water system, including daily testing and submitting samples to Public Health.
You will collect and dispose of garbage throughout the site daily and, during camp season, use your vehicle to transport waste to the local dump.
You will proactively identify and address potential property concerns before they escalate.
Support safe program delivery.
You will regularly inspect camp program areas and equipment to ensure safety and cleanliness, and repair unsafe conditions immediately.
You will liaise daily with Kitchen and Catering staff to support smooth operations and ensure facilities meet program needs.
Manage supplies, budgets, and communication.
You will track maintenance expenses, manage purchasing within budget, and order cleaning and paper supplies as required.
You will communicate property needs and updates to the Camp Director daily and ensure accurate reporting of any issues.
Lead and collaborate.
You will supervise maintenance assistants and meet regularly with the Camp Director for supervision and debriefing.
You will participate fully as part of the staff team, working cooperatively across departments, supporting camp policies, and serving as a positive role model for staff and campers.
Provide off-season stewardship.
