About Mount Milligan Mine
Located approximately 155 kilometres northwest of Prince George in central BC, the Mount Milligan Mine is a conventional truck‑shovel open‑pit copper and gold mine and concentrator with a 60,000 tpd capacity copper flotation processing plant.
Mount Milligan operates with comfortable camp accommodations equipped with private washrooms, TV, Wi‑Fi, an onsite gym, and other recreational activities. Bus transportation to and from the site is provided free of charge from several locations within the region.
Mount Milligan promotes a drug and alcohol‑free workplace and has adopted a zero‑tolerance policy with respect to alcohol or unauthorized drugs on site.
About the Opportunity
We are looking for an Administrator, Mine Operations to join our Mount Milligan Mine team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the Mine Operations Team.
Key Responsibilities
Track and report Mine Production of Small Fleet and maintain various databases.
Create and manage Purchase
Requisition s, track Purchase Orders, and arrange for pickup (Mine Point).
Assist with basic payroll activities (Day force) and complete Attendance Spreadsheets.
Maintain Crew calendars and overtime.
Attend meetings; liaison between HR and Pit‑Crews.
Prepare, send and track Pit & Blasting Crew, Shifter and GF reservations.
Track and collect data from Shifter Reports and FLHAs.
Track pumps and generators.
Reporting: HSE Monthly Report;
Mine/Engineering Summary Monthly Report.
Maintain Man Hours Spreadsheet & generate charts for Engineering Dept.
Maintain regular communication between GF, Shifters, Superintendent, Warehouse, Purchasing and Vendors.
Maintain available inventory of logbooks, hot gloves and various forms in the toolbox meeting room.
Hand out weekly safety documents to Pit‑Crews.
Organize and maintain filing systems.
Perform other duties and help as required.
About You
Our ideal candidate will possess the following skill set and experience:
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy.
Proven ability to work under pressure and multi‑task.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to prioritize jobs, and handle interruptions on a regular basis.
Innovative thinking and strong interpersonal skills.
Good work ethic, self‑starter, and high‑performance attitude.
Strong ability to build relationships and work effectively with others at all levels of the organization.
Working Conditions
Camp‑based role working 12‑hour days on a 14‑day on, 14‑day off rotation, with accommodation provided during rotations.
Exposure to indoor/outdoor environments, heavy equipment, noise, and moving parts.
PPE always required.
Safety‑sensitive environment with zero‑tolerance drug and alcohol policy.
Bus transportation provided from regional locations.
