Emergency Response Team Captain Redwater

Location: Eastern Alberta (St. Paul)

Lead life-saving operations as an Emergency Response Team Captain with International SOS in Redwater, AB. This full-time role requires robust leadership and emergency response skills across day and night shifts.

As a full-time Captain, you will direct both emergency and non-emergency activities for your assigned team. Key responsibilities include managing safety compliance and preparing for medical emergencies, while fostering a positive safety culture. Your leadership will ensure effective responses to a variety of incidents including fire, spills, and rescues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure task readiness and safe execution of duties

• Lead coordination for emergency response operations

• Conduct inspections and maintenance of safety equipment

• Train and mentor team members in emergency protocols

• Collaborate with site operations for hazardous tasks

Requirements:

• Proven leadership experience in emergency services

• Current ITLS and ACLS certifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record

• NFPA fire certifications including Level II

• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance
