Infant and Toddler Educator Position

Location: Central Okanagan and High Country (Revelstoke)

Become a key part of the team at Sk’astin Child Care Centre as an Infant and Toddler Educator. Providing high-quality care, you will support the development of very young children in our engaging Chase, BC setting.

This full-time position involves working under the guidance of the Education Director to create enriching experiences tailored to infants and toddlers. Responsibilities include not only supervising children but also planning activities that integrate cultural elements and support family engagement. Maintaining a clean, safe environment is paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and evaluate developmentally appropriate activities

• Supervise all daily routines for infants and toddlers

• Promote Shuswap culture through educational practices

• Ensure timely updating of child health and emergency information

• Carry out regular sanitation and maintenance of toys and facilities

Requirements:

• ECE and ITE Certifications are mandatory

• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification

• Experience with Indigenous communities preferred

• Strong teamwork and confidentiality skills

• Dependability and adaptability to varied situations
