Northern Lights Public Schools is looking for an Early Childhood Assistant for a part-time position starting at the  school year. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm, dedicated to promoting a nurturing learning environment. Candidates should demonstrate solid relationship-building skills and a thorough understanding of child development best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement program policies and daily operations effectively

• Ensure confidentiality with students, families, and staff

• Aid in developing a suitable program for children

• Monitor students' supervision during all activities

• Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere

Requirements:

• Certification in Early Child Care (Level 1, 2, or
3)

• Valid First Aid Certification

• Proven experience in early childhood education

• Knowledge of Alberta Childcare Licensing Regulations

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
