SFFA Childcare Worker

Become a Childcare Worker with the Saskatchewan Foster Families Association and support children in foster care. This role focuses on childcare, housekeeping, and aiding family visitations.

As a Childcare Worker at SFFA, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the daily care and well-being of children in a supportive foster home environment. Flexibility and adaptability are key in this dynamic role, as you assist with childcare tasks, coordinate transportation, and maintain a clean space for children to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality and attentive childcare

• Assist in light housekeeping tasks

• Coordinate transportation for family visits

• Offer emotional and practical support to children

Requirements:

• Prior experience in childcare is preferred

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Valid driver’s license with a Criminal Records Check

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
