Nanny

Position: URGENT: Nanny
Location: Hammonds Plains

We are looking for a warm, experienced part-time nanny to spend 2–3 days per week with our 2-year-old daughter, Sophie. We’d love someone who can take her to age-appropriate playdates, community programs, parks, libraries and other activities, ideally building connections with other children and families in their network.
We’re looking for someone who is genuinely engaged and enjoys playing, talking, reading and exploring with a toddler rather than simply providing supervision. Sophie is curious, energetic and social, and we want someone who will support her development, independence and confidence while creating a fun and nurturing environment.
We strongly prefer someone with Early Childhood Education (ECE) training or significant experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare or early learning setting. Current First Aid/CPR certification is required. Experience supporting children with different developmental, sensory or communication needs would be an asset.
We are looking for someone who understands toddler development, uses a warm and respectful approach, and is comfortable supporting a child through big emotions while maintaining appropriate boundaries and routines. A valid driver’s licence and reliable access to a vehicle would also be important, as outings and playdates will be part of the role. We are looking for approximately 2–3 days per week, with a consistent schedule where possible.

Ideally, care would take place during daytime/weekday hours, with some flexibility depending on the nanny’s availability and the activities or playdates being planned.
