As a Child Program Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering structured programs modified to fit the developmental stages of participants. Effective communication with children and caregivers is key to fostering relationships that enhance the program experience. Additionally, teamwork is essential for maintaining the YMCA's welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement structured programs responsive to participant needs
• Supervise activities, ensuring a safe environment
• Communicate consistently with families and staff
• Maintain attendance and program documentation
• Collaborate to maintain clean facility standards
Requirements:
• Outstanding communication capabilities
• Certification in Standard First Aid/CPR ‘C’
• Healthy child development experience preferred
• Clear Police Reference Check required for employment
• Ability to work flexible hours according to program needs
