Kainaiwa Child Care Worker Position

Location: Stand Off

Join Kainaiwa Children’s Services Corporation as a Child Care Worker in Stand Off, Alberta, and help create a nurturing space for children in care. This full-time role requires evening and weekend shifts.

As part of the Blood Tribe Safe Home and Assessment Centre, you will provide essential care and supervision to children. A post-secondary degree in Child and Youth Care or similar is required. Your duties will involve maintaining a safe environment, conducting daily programming, and supporting children's emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe, nurturing environment for children

• Supervise interactions and activities for safety

• Develop and implement engaging daily activities

• Collaborate with professionals and family members

• Maintain accurate documentation and logs

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Child and Youth Care

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License is necessary

• Completion of required background checks

• Strong communication and planning skills

• Willing to work shifts, including holidays
