Compass ELC School Age Site Lead

Location: Renfrew County and Lanark Highlands Township (Deep River)

Step into the role of Site Lead at Compass Early Learning and Care, overseeing school age programs in Peterborough. You’ll engage with educators and families, ensuring a supportive atmosphere for children's growth.

As a Site Lead, you'll work 35 hours per week, floating among 11 school age programs. Your responsibilities include ensuring safety, facilitating administrative tasks, and training new staff in a collaborative team environment. This role emphasizes your ability to engage in challenging conversations while fostering an educational and nurturing space for children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Float between various school age programs in Peterborough

• Engage with families, staff, and community partners

• Provide nutritious snacks to children following guidelines

• Support administrative duties for child care programs

• Oversee child care waitlists and enrollments

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years experience as an Early Childhood Educator

• Knowledge of licensing standards in childcare

• Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check

• CPR Certification and updated immunization records

• Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
