Join the New Frontiers School Board as an On-Call Daycare Educator, nurturing preschool and elementary students in a safe and engaging environment.
Your role will enhance their learning through organized activities and personal care.
In this on-call capacity, you will plan and conduct various educational activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of each child in your care. Key duties include assisting with dressing and meals, maintaining cleanliness, and engaging parents daily. You'll also create an encouraging atmosphere for students while they complete homework and uphold hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate indoor and outdoor recreational activities
• Monitor student safety and conduct adherence
• Assist with meal preparation and hygiene practices
• Maintain accurate attendance records for students
• Provide support for students’ school assignments
Requirements:
• High School Diploma and Day Care Services certification
• At least 1 year of relevant childcare experience
• Bilingual written and oral communication skills
• Completion of standard first aid course
• Updated first aid refresher course within 3 years
