Explore a rewarding part-time role at J.A. Cuddy Child Care in Sanford, MB. We're looking for an enthusiastic Child Care Assistant available Monday to Friday from 3 PM until 5:30 PM.
This position allows you to support our dynamic child care team while engaging with children of diverse ages. Our 77-space child care center has opportunities for you to learn, grow, and contribute to a nurturing environment that values outdoor play and community involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate engaging activities for children of various ages
• Assist in outdoor play and exploration of local resources
• Work collaboratively with a team of dedicated educators
• Follow safety measures during poor weather conditions
• Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
Requirements:
• Energetic and engaging approach with children
• Available during specified afternoon hours
• Willingness to cover in-service day shifts
• Open-mindedness towards professional growth
• Respect for the local Indigenous culture and community principles
