Early Learning Centre Assistant Position

Become an Early Learning Centre Assistant at the Child Development Institute and play a crucial role in children’s early education. This part-time position focuses on nurturing and supervising young learners in a collaborative environment.

The Child Development Institute is hiring five Early Childhood Assistants for a 25-hour per week contract position. Collaborating with the RECE, you will help implement innovative programs that support children’s development. This role emphasizes relationship-building and a commitment to creating a safe, engaging atmosphere for exploration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise children ensuring health and safety standards

• Conduct regular headcounts and attendance updates

• Assist in establishing daily routines for children

• Help prepare and implement enriching program activities

• Maintain organization and cleanliness within the classroom

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Assistant certification or equivalent

• Current Standard First Aid Certificate

• Strong interpersonal skills with families

• Ability to adapt in a diverse work environment

• Flexibility in shift timings
