Oversee corporate tax strategy and compliance initiatives. Manage audits and tax planning while developing a skilled tax team aligned with business objectives.

In this managerial role, you will direct corporate income tax planning and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Responsibilities include preparing corporate tax returns, managing audits, and collaborating with various departments to assess the tax implications of business decisions.

Your role also involves leveraging technology to optimize tax processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead corporate tax planning and compliance directives

• Manage preparation and filing of tax returns

• Oversee responses to tax audits and inquiries

• Collaborate on complex transactions and reporting

• Mentor tax team members for improved performance

Requirements:

• 6+ years in corporate tax roles or public accounting

• Extensive knowledge of Canadian income tax laws

• Degree in Accounting, Tax, or relevant field

• CPA In-Depth Tax certification or Master of Taxation desired

• Strong communication and attention to detail skills
