Senior Actuarial Consultant - Auto Pricing

Location: Hants County (Shubenacadie)

Join Wawanesa as a Senior Actuarial Consultant focusing on Personal Lines Pricing for auto insurance. This role allows for autonomy while mentoring analysts and delivering insights.

As part of our team, you will oversee key auto pricing initiatives within the Maritime and Ontario regions. Your expertise in actuarial science will be critical in addressing complex issues while guiding less experienced team members. This position also requires effective stakeholder communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analyses of industry data and trends

• Manage projects from start to finish including training

• Provide mentoring to actuarial analysts

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders through communication

• Ensure high-quality data analysis with minimal errors

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or similar

• Minimum four years of relevant experience in the field

• 7 CAS exams or ACAS designation preferred

• Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, R, Python

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
