Be at the forefront of financial strategy as Marqeta’s Lead Strategic Finance Manager. This role empowers you to tackle complex projects and enhance decision-making processes across the organization, available remotely or in Oakland.

In this strategic position within the FP&A team, you will interface with key stakeholders to drive financial planning and analysis. Your expertise will help shape product profitability and investment strategies through detailed financial models and data insights. The ability to work autonomously while mentoring junior analysts will be crucial as you grow into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead strategic finance initiatives from start to finish

• Develop and oversee comprehensive financial models

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on strategies

• Analyze marketing ROI and operational expenses

• Prepare reports for executive and board meetings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or similar discipline

• 7-10 years in finance roles, ideally in fintech

• Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets; SQL a plus

• Comfortable with full P&L analysis

• Proven record in leading financial projects
