Finance Director for Non-Profit Organization

Location: Halton Regional Municipality (Campbellville)

Lead financial operations as the Director of Finance & IT with our mission-driven non-profit in the Greater Toronto Area. Provide oversight for financial management while ensuring compliance and team development.

This 6-month contract role is geared toward experienced financial leaders with a CPA designation. You will oversee budgeting, forecasts, and all financial reporting, providing strategic guidance to the leadership team and Board. In addition, this position involves managing a small team and ensuring compliance with funding requirements, which is critical for maintaining the organization’s resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

• Develop and monitor organizational budgets and strategies

• Ensure compliance with funding and financial reporting requirements

• Oversee full-cycle accounting and financial operations

• Mentor and develop Finance and IT team members

Requirements:

• CPA designation required

• 8+ years in finance and accounting, preferably in non-profit

• Strong understanding of funding models and grant reporting

• Proven ability to lead teams in collaborative environments

• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
