Finance and Accounting Analyst

Location: Wainwright Region (Tofield)

Position  Under manager supervision, assemble and process financial data for interpretation on a monthly and annual basis. Assist in developing new and revised accounting processes. Provide information for and assist in developing forecasts for credit union tactical action. Support the finance and accounting departments in all areas.

Qualifications   Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Preference will be given to candidates who are working towards completion or have completed the Certified Professional Accounting (CPA) designation
Cooperative or Credit Union industry experience is a benefit
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards
Excellent knowledge of Excel and MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Solid knowledge of accounting functions
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with high credibility at all levels of the organization
Must demonstrate flexibility, strong commitment to meeting deadlines, and solid decision-making skills
Compensation   Salary ranges from $65,000 to $80,000 annually
