Job Title and Location   Directeur Finance – Chaîne d’approvisionnement , Valleyfield Supply Finance Manager, Valleyfield, Québec, Canada.
About the Role  This role reports to the Finance Director – Supply Operation and is based at the Valleyfield site where Diageo’s manufacturing operations – distillation, maturing and bottling – take place. The Director Finance leads the financial reporting and planning for the site’s manufacturing operations in a dynamic, global environment.

Key Responsibilities   Lead the financial reporting, accounting and performance analysis of the manufacturing operations.
Develop and deliver the annual operating plans (AOP), latest estimates (LE) and financial results.
Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
Provide financial leadership to drive performance and decision‑making.
Identify performance improvement opportunities and work with site leadership to implement them.
Maintain a rigorous internal control and compliance environment.
Simplify reporting and decision‑making processes through digital tools.
Proactively identify risks and opportunities, providing relevant performance analysis.
Act as a business partner for manufacturing site management, shared services, and the broader finance community.
Collaborate with supply‑chain functions such as Planning, Blending, Technical, Procurement and others, ensuring information flows across all management levels.

Required Qualifications & Experience   Bilingual in French and English (75% of communication in English).
Minimum 5 years of financial management and accounting experience, preferably in a consumer‑goods manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; professional accounting designation or MBA is an advantage.
Strong leadership, analytical and planning capabilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in technical accounting, planning, analysis, reporting and systems – SAP knowledge is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to distill complex business issues into clear, actionable plans.
Strong financial stewardship mindset and ability to influence organizational change.
