Position: Full-Time Finance Clerk Opportunity
Location: Omineca and Yellowhead (Smithers)

In this role, under the Finance Supervisor’s guidance, the Finance Clerk will handle tasks such as processing accounts payable, preparing payments, and supporting payroll. Proficiency in accounting software and organizational skills are crucial, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality in financial matters. Familiarity with Indigenous culture is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices for accounts payable efficiently

• Match purchase orders to invoices accurately

• Prepare and process various payment types

• Maintain organized filing systems for documentation

• Assist with year-end audit processes

Requirements:

• Accounting or Finance certification or diploma

• Minimum one year in bookkeeping or payroll role

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Strong communication and time management skills

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required
