We are currently looking for Casual Support Services Workers to join our team, providing cleaning, laundry, and kitchen services. This casual role offers shifts from Monday to Friday, with an average of 33 hours per fortnight.

The Role
Our Support Service Workers provide all hospitality aspects of our Aged Care home such as catering, cleaning, and laundry services. You will build strong relationships with our residents, families, and Care Staff, contributing the optimisation of resident choice and essentially creating a strong sense of home in accordance with our values supporting our residents quality of life.

Duties Include

Preparation and presentation of dietary services, including meals and drinks

Assisting the chef with meal preparation, cleaning and general kitchen duties

Distribution of meals to residents & dining room services

All aspects of cleaning throughout the resident rooms and facility

Completing required documentation and reporting

Ensure handwashing supplies are available and replenished

Contribute to an effective laundry service including item checking & labelling

What you will bring

Previous experience in a similar role

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in Aged Care highly desirable but not essential

Currently hold and maintain a NDIS Check (or willing to obtain)

An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes is highly regarded but not essential
