Responsibilities
Lead daily tasting room operations, including opening and closing procedures, scheduling, inventory, cash handling, and POS management.
Deliver warm, engaging, and knowledgeable guest experiences that reflect the brand and its story.
Train, coach, and motivate a small team to provide consistent, high-quality service.
Drive sales through elevated hospitality, upselling, merchandising, promotions, and product knowledge.
Build relationships with local businesses, tourism partners, retailers, resellers, and event organizers.
Support product launches, seasonal offerings, ticketed events, promotions, and in-store activations.
Assist with local and regional delivery coordination, retail relationships, and broader sales growth initiatives.
Ensure compliance with applicable liquor regulations, health and safety standards, and internal policies.
Support operational administration, including ordering supplies, maintaining required documentation, and assisting with reporting.
Create a positive, accountable, and fun team environment.
Requirements
Leadership experience in hospitality, retail, tourism, food and beverage, or a related guest-facing environment.
Craft distillery, brewery, winery, or beverage alcohol experience would be considered an asset.
Strong customer service instincts and a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
Confidence leading small teams and managing daily operations.
Sales‑minded approach with the ability to engage guests and convert visits into purchases.
Strong communication, organization, and relationship‑building skills.
Comfort working in a hands‑on, entrepreneurial, and community‑connected environment.
