The Opportunity  Step into the spotlight as a Team Lead at Vallea Lumina, Whistler’s award-winning multimedia night walk experience by The Adventure Group (TAG). In this role, you’ll guide guests through a world of wonder while leading a passionate team to deliver unforgettable evenings on Cougar Mountain. You’ll be at the heart of operations — ensuring every night runs smoothly, safely, and magically.

What You Bring to the Table  You’re a natural leader who thrives in dynamic, outdoor environments and takes pride in creating memorable guest experiences. You bring:
2+ years of experience in tourism, adventure tourism, or outdoor activity operations.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills — you keep calm and focused under pressure.
A safety-first mindset, backed by Standard First Aid (80-hour Outdoor First Aid preferred).
A valid Driver’s License and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
A flexible, positive attitude — evenings, weekends, and holidays are all part of the adventure.
Reliability, adaptability, and a genuine passion for people and the outdoors.
Your Days Will Look Like
Lead nightly Vallea Lumina operations, ensuring each guest’s journey is smooth, safe, and full of magic.
Support a positive team environment by coordinating simple shared team meals each evening, helping create connection and energy before the night’s experiences begin
Oversee and inspire a team of 10+ crew members — providing training, feedback, and motivation.
Collaborate with the Lumina Tech Team to ensure world-class show delivery and guest satisfaction.
Manage site logistics: scheduling, payroll support, safety checks, and course maintenance coordination.
Act as the on-site incident and emergency lead, maintaining readiness and accurate reporting.
Engage directly with guests — answering questions, gathering feedback, and ensuring smiles all around.
Support hiring, onboarding, and team development alongside site management.
Prepare the nightly team meal.
