Become an integral part of the Crest Hotel and Convention Centre team as a Banquet and Event Operations Assistant Manager in Prince Rupert, BC. Ensure successful and memorable event executions.

This position requires a minimum of three years in the events sector with leadership skills, focusing on day-of operational management of various functions. You will thrive in a dynamic environment, coordinating between clients and event staff while effectively managing event logistics and post-event processes. Flexibility is key to meet various event schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Authority over operations for events and banquets

• Direct hiring and training processes for staff

• Provide leadership and support as the client contact

• Ensure smooth communication throughout events

• Handle budgeting, purchasing, and vendor interactions

Requirements:

• At least three years in events or banquet management

• Valid FOODSAFE Level 1 certification

• Ability to obtain Serving it Right Certificate

• Capacity to lift 25 kg as needed

• Strong multitasking and organizational capabilities
