Frontiers North Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an experienced  GENERAL MANAGER, HOSPITALITY to join our team for a 1-year term position to oversee hotel, restaurant, and event operations. This dynamic position will also play an instrumental role in leading operations at the newly renovated Tundra Inn, in Churchill, Manitoba.

JOB SUMMARY   The General Manager, Hospitality provides leadership, oversight, and strategic coordination of all hospitality operations at Frontiers North Inc. (Frontiers North). In addition, this role serves as the operational lead for the launch of the newly renovated Tundra Inn, collaborating with the Internal Project Lead to ensure the owners’ vision is successfully translated into guest service standards. The position manages the transition into ongoing operations following the launch, ensures compliance with licensing and safety regulations, and leads change management initiatives to refine team workflows within the renovated facility.

They also oversee cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and drive continuous improvement to support Frontiers North's mission, guest experience goals, and sustainability commitments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Operational Leadership     Oversee all hospitality operations, including guest services, accommodations, facilities care, restaurant, food and beverage services, and catering and event functions.
Provide overall direction and coordination across hospitality departments to ensure consistent service standards, effective communication, and alignment with organizational priorities.
Lead and manage seasonal opening and closing procedures for all hospitality facilities.
Ensure readiness for inspections and full compliance with applicable health, safety, sanitation, and hospitality regulations.
Maintain consistent service delivery standards across all operational areas.
Coordinate and support the operational execution of catering services and on-site events, ensuring alignment with service expectations.
Manage the 24-hour Tundra Inn phone line, ensuring coverage, responsiveness, and clear communication with guests and staff. Delegate monitoring responsibilities as appropriate while maintaining overall accountability.
Oversee guest transportation logistics, including scheduling, coordination, and execution using company vehicles. Ensure safe, timely service and delegate driving or dispatch tasks when appropriate.
Tundra Inn Post-Renovation Operations and Project Completion     Collaborate with the Project Lead on outstanding renovation, deficiency, warranty, equipment, furnishing, and other post-opening project items related to the Tundra Inn.
Represent hospitality operational requirements when identifying, prioritizing, and completing outstanding project work.
